Comic-Con returns to San Diego for a special edition Thanksgiving wekeend. With 15-minute service, or better, to the Gaslamp Quarter and Convention Center Stations, riding the Trolley is the easiest way to join in Comic-Con festivities. Whether you have a pass or will be headed to the fun outside the Convention Center, hop onboard the Trolley for direct service to Comic-Con (the people watching is great, too).
Looking to still get in the Comic-Con spirit, but won't be on-site? Download our special edition Comic-Con screensavers to celebrate from afar! (Click on the preview below to save the screensavers to your device.)
Use your phone as your transit pass with PRONTO
PRONTO, the new way to pay for transit, is accepted on all MTS buses and Trolleys. Riders can use the PRONTO app to add money to their phone and ride, or get a PRONTO card for $2 at Trolley ticket machines, or the MTS Transit Store. (Commemorative passes are not available for the 2021 special edition.)
With PRONTO, riders can just add money, then tap their card or scan their app each time they ride to always get the best fare! A one-way fare on PRONTO is valid for unlimited transfers for two hours. Once you reach the value of a Day Pass ($6 adult), your card or app will stop being charged.
Transit Station Parking (Parking at Hazard Center will be available after 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday.)
