San Diego – Monster Jam is taking over Snapdragon Stadium! Over the next two weekends, thousands of fans will head to Snapdragon for an unforgettable motorsports experience, Jan. 13-14 and Jan. 20-21. With some Monster Jam activities beginning as early as 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 11:30 a.m. on Sundays, the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) will be increasing Trolley service to accommodate the large crowds.
In addition, The San Diego Padres, in partnership with C5 Rodeo Company Inc. and Outriders Present will debut the first rodeo at Petco Park. MTS will increase Trolley service to this cowboy showdown event. The rodeo is set to take place Jan. 12-14.
Event attendees are encouraged to avoid traffic and parking and enjoy Monster Jam and San Diego Rodeo by taking the Trolley to both Snapdragon Stadium and Petco Park.
Getting to Monster Jam (Snapdragon Stadium):
Saturdays, Jan. 13 and 27 (2:30 p.m. Pit Party; 7 p.m. show time)
Sundays, Jan. 14 and 28: (11:30 a.m. Pit Party; 3 p.m. show time)
Kids ride free: Families going to Monster Jam can save big by taking MTS. On weekends, two children 12 and under ride for free with every paying adult.
Getting to San Diego Rodeo (Petco Park):
Friday, Jan. 12 - Saturday, Jan. 13 (7 p.m. rodeo start)
Sunday, Jan. 14: (2 p.m. rodeo start)
To help speed up the boarding process, fans should download the PRONTO app in advance. Load at least $5 on your virtual/physical card via the PRONTO app for Monster Jam, which covers a round-trip fare for adult riders ((each rider ages 13 and older must have their own virtual/physical PRONTO card).
