The Employee Excellence Award is available to bus and rail operators, mechanics, facilities personnel and more. Late last year, MTS celebrated the employees that met the criteria such as no miss-outs, no preventable accidents, no more than two sick occurrences in a one-year period, and no passenger complaints. Each qualifying employee receives a Certificate of Employee Excellence, a paid day off to be taken within one year of the date of the award, a $50 cash award, and an invitation to a luncheon catered by Phil’s BBQ.
