Moving three times in five years is not easy! But the Compass Service Center may have finally found its long-term home. Compass came under the MTS umbrella from SANDAG in 2014, and employees were first housed in the Mills Building, followed by a move to IAD. Operations have now moved down the hall into a remodeled space previously held for San Diego Transit Corporation’s board meetings. The room has been renovated to fit the true specs of a call center –work stations were customized, power and network connections were dropped from the ceiling to plug-in work consoles, wall monitors were mounted for live update displays, and a private supervisor’s office was built.
