March participants are encouraged to use public transit to get to and from the march. Beginning at 8:00am, MTS will be running added Trolley service as noted below. Park & Ride lots are available along each Trolley line, including 5,000 spaces at SDCCU Stadium. MTS is providing 3-car trains on all three Trolley lines throughout the morning. The 2016 San Diego Holiday half has moved the start line to the Doubletree Golf resort across the street from the old Albertsons start! The Expo will be held at Road Runner Sports at 5553 Copley Dr. San Diego on December 17. The race is on a beautiful course from Rancho Penasquitos down the 56 bike path to the San Diego coastline at Torrey Pines State Beach. The race is capped at 3,500 runners which makes for an enjoyable and spacious course

San Diego's furriest festive family-friendly parade returns to Downtown as The San Diego Union-Tribune Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade presented by VCA Market Street Animal Hospital takes over the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter. This year marks the 37th Annual PB Holiday Parade! Please join us for this fun filled community event to celebrate the holidays together in Pacific Beach. There will be marching bands, local community groups, floats, businesses and dancing groups. The theme this year is “A Time to Give”.

Discover Pacific Beach will host the 2016 Holiday Celebration featuring the San Diego Santa Run, Pacific Beach Holiday Parade and Christmas on Crystal Pier. The celebration begins at 10:00 am with the San Diego Santa Run 5k. The PB Holiday Parade starts at 1pm immediately following the run. The theme this year is “From Sea to Shining Sea” which will allow everyone to celebrate the difference ways cultures and communities celebrate the holidays around the country and world.
