San Diego's biggest 4th of July Fireworks show takes over the San Diego Bay with four barges at different points. There are great viewing areas all along the bay for this annual event! Parking is free and plentiful at Qualcomm Stadium as well as at other park-and-ride lots throughout the system. Prime viewing locations are located close to the following stations:
* County Center / Little Italy
* Santa Fe Depot
* America Plaza
* Seaport Village
* Convention Center
* Gaslamp Quarter
Additional service will operate before and after the event.
GREEN LINE SERVICE: Beginning at 2:49pm from Santee, Green Line trains will depart every 15 minutes before the show. Beginning at 3:23pm from Qualcomm Stadium, Green Line trains will depart every 7.5 minutes heading toward the Big Bay Boom! After the show trains will depart every few minutes toward Qualcomm Stadium and every 15 minutes toward Santee. The last train to Santee will depart Imperial at 12:06am.
BLUE LINE SERVICE: Trains depart Blue Line stations every 15 minutes throughout the day. After the show, trains will continue to depart America Plaza every 15 minutes until 10:18pm (10:30pm from the Imperial Transit Center). The last Blue Line train to San Ysidro will depart America Plaza at 11:48pm (12:00 midnight from Imperial).
ORANGE LINE SERVICE ADVISORY!
Due to the additional Green Line service frequency operating through Santa Fe Depot, Orange Line service will stop at America Plaza beginning at 4:00pm. America Plaza is located directly across the street from Santa Fe Depot.
ORANGE LINE SERVICE: Trains depart Orange Line stations every 15 minutes throughout the day up until the start of the fireworks. After the show, trains will continue to depart America Plaza every 15 minutes until 10:21pm (10:33pm from the Imperial Transit Center). The last Orange Line train to El Cajon will depart America Plaza at 10:51pm (11:03pm from Imperial).
