Join Third Avenue Village as we take part in a traditional Mexican celebration honoring loved ones who have passed, by enjoying life, music, and good food and drink. Stroll along Third Avenue and take in the ofrendas (offerings), tastes and music as we celebrate our 2nd Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration in the heart of Chula Vista.
This event will include two different options:
- La Ofrenda - a ticketed portion that gives guests the chance to sample a variety of tastes from local businesses and redeem special discounts throughout the night.
- Treats & Sweets - a free, family-centric option where little citrines and catrinas (kids) can wander through participating businesses to collect goodies.
How to get there:
The UC San Diego Blue Trolley can get you to Chula Vista off E Street or H Street. Routes 701, 704, 705, or 709 all stop near Third Avenue in Chula Vista. Use our Trip Planner for exact directions and times. Be sure to load up your PRONTO app or card in advance for your trip and remember to tap or scan before every ride.
