Comic-Con

Comic-Con returns to San Diego July 17 - 21 at the San Diego Convention Center.  It's a special year as Comic-Con celebrates its 50th anniversary. With 15-minute service, or better, to the Gaslamp Quarter and Convention Center Stations, riding the Trolley is the easiest way to join in Comic-Con festivities. Whether you have a coveted pass or will be headed to the fun outside the Convention Center, hop onboard the Trolley for direct service to Comic-Con (the people watching is great, too).   

Commemorative Passes Available June 20! 

Pick up your commemorative passes at the Transit Store starting Thursday, June 20. The Transit Store is located on the ground level of the 12th & Imperial Transit Center, and is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The passes will also be sold at select Trolley stations during Comic-Con, as outlined below:

Wednesday, July 17: 

• Stadium Station: 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. 
• Fashion Valley Transit Center: 2 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
• Old Town Transit Center: 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.
• Convention Center Station: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.
• Gaslamp Quarter Station: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Thursday, July 18:

• Grantville Station: 6 a.m. to Noon
• Stadium Station: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Hazard Center Station: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Fashion Valley Transit Center: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Old Town Transit Center: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Convention Center Station: Noon to 9 p.m.
• Gaslamp Quarter Station: Noon to 9 p.m.

Friday, July 19:

• Grantville Station: 6 a.m. to Noon
• Stadium Station: 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Hazard Center Station: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Fashion Valley Transit Center: 6:15 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Old Town Transit Center: 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Convention Center Station: Noon to 9 p.m.
• Gaslamp Quarter Station: Noon to 10 p.m.

Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21:

• Stadium Station: 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Hazard Center Station: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Fashion Valley Transit Center: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Old Town Transit Center: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Convention Center Station: Noon to 10 p.m.
• Gaslamp Quarter Station: Noon to 10 p.m.

Use your phone as your transit pass with Compass Cloud 

**Compass Cloud is accepted on all buses and Trolleys.

To purchase special event Comic-Con passes on Compass Cloud, select the ‘Special Event’ service, then select the preferred pass type. Please note that Comic-Con special event passes can’t be activated until 7/17, and are only valid for consecutive days within the duration of Comic-Con, July 17 – 21). Be sure to purchase the right number of days for intended use! (ex. A 4-day pass is for 7/18-7/21) Comic-Con passes will be available on Compass Cloud starting July 1. 

Transit Station Parking (Parking at Hazard Center will be available after 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday.)
