The annual San Diego Pride Parade is back and bigger than ever! An estimated 300,000 attendees are expected to join the weekend’s events. Come out to celebrate and honor the LGBT+ community. With limited parking, MTS is the smart ride to Pride.
Riders are encouraged to use their PRONTO app to travel to the event.
Youth with a registered PRONTO card or app account can also ride free with the Youth Opportunity Pass. Remember to tap or scan before every ride - even when you transfer between stops.
Senior/Disabled/Medicare: $1.25 one way $3.00 day pass.
Rapid 215 is a great option to get to all the Pride festivities:
- Service every 15 minutes or better throughout most of the day
- Last bus leaves downtown/Hillcrest (both directions) after midnight
- Direct service to University & Park Blvd. to catch the Parade
- Connect to the free Pride shuttle service at the Park Blvd. and Presidents Way. (Northbound stop: Park Blvd. and Naval Hospital. Southbound Stop: Park Blvd. and Inspiration Point Way)
Detours
Routes 10, 11 & 120 will be detoured on Saturday, July 16, 2022 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Bus stops on University between 1st Ave and Park Blvd in both directions will temporarily discontinued, including bus stop on 5th at University. For complete detour information visit our Alerts & Detours page here.
