The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon is back! With 30,000+ runners and 100,000 spectators, MTS is encouraging attendees to take the Trolley to avoid congestion.
Head to the San Diego Convention Center (using the Sycuan Green Line!) to check out the Health and Fitness Expo on Friday and Saturday, and then boogie over to 6th and Quince in Balboa Park from the County Center/Little Italy Station to the start line on Sunday. The Little Italy/County Center Station is also just steps from the away from the finish line and festivities at Waterfront Park.

Trolley Service to Start Lines
Park for free at SDCCU Stadium (5,000 spots) or at another park and ride lot. Purchase a Day Pass at the ticket booth (cash only), Ticket Vending Machine (cash, debit, or credit cards), or via Compass Cloud. Or pick-up your Race Day pass ahead of time at the MTS Booth at the Expo!
The Trolley's Sycuan Green Line will connect Santee, El Cajon, SDSU, SDCCU Stadium, Mission Valley, and Old Town to the County Center/Little Italy Station. The start line is 1.3 miles walking distance, or pre-purchase wristbands online for shuttle bus service (click here for info) to take runners to the Start Line.

Trains depart every 30 minutes from Santee until 10:18am, then every 15 minutes until 1:18pm. Trains continue departing all stations between SDCCU Stadium and 12th & Imperial every 7-8 minutes throughout the event. |
