The UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley will have temporary closures between Iris Avenue and E Street from Friday, May 13, 2016 at 9:30 p.m. through end-of-service Sunday, May 15, 2016.
A-frame signs are posted at all affected stations directing passengers to shuttle service locations. There will be an Express shuttle, taking passengers directly to/from E Street and Iris Avenue, as well as shuttles making stops at all Trolley stations between Iris Avenue and E Street. Passengers can pick-up the Trolley to resume trip at E Street or Iris Avenue. MTS Ambassadors and security personnel will also be on-site to assist passengers with transfers.
Passengers should allot extra travel time during Trolley closure.
Additionally, there will be intermittent night work and construction along the UC San Diego Blue Line from Palm Avenue to H Street for the South Line Rail Freight Capacity Project beginning May 16 through early June. Single-tracking will be in effect between H Street and Palm Avenue from 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 20 through end-of-service Sunday, May 22, 2016.
