New Flyer Brings Electric Bus to IAD

New Flyer showed off its prototype electric bus at IAD in July, which will be similar to the model MTS is having built.  MTS’ Zero-Emission Bus  (ZEB) Pilot Program will further help MTS reduce our Greenhouse Gas Emissions. The nearly $10 million project is designed to support MTS in complying with the California Air Resources Board’s proposed Innovative Clean Transit regulation. The ICT may require that all California transit systems transition to ZEB technologies by 2040.

East/West Bus Public Outreach for Mid-Coast Trolley Extension

This fall, MTS will host a series of public workshops to better understand resident needs and travel patterns for bus routes connecting to the Mid-Coast Trolley extension.  The workshops will be held in the following communities:

MESA AREA: Linda Vista, Clairemont, Kearny Mesa

BEACH AREA: Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla

NORTHERN AREA: University City, Sorrento Valley
