San Diego – MTS is scheduling extra Trolley service on all three lines to accommodate large crowds expected at Petco Park for Monster Energy AMA Supercross racing on Saturday. MTS has also activated mTicket, allowing attendees to purchase Trolley tickets on their smartphones and bypass the ticket vending machine
Practice and qualifying begins at 12:30 p.m. Racing begins at 6:30 p.m. and concludes around 10 p.m. All three Trolley lines drop off fans steps away from Petco Park at the 12th & Imperial Transit Center. Supercross fans can avoid Trolley ticket lines and speed up the boarding process after the event by purchasing Trolley passes right on their smartphones at any time prior to arriving at transit stations by using mTicket.
