Families Can Explore More, For Less, with MTS

Summer is the perfect time for San Diego families to explore more, for less! Every Saturday and Sunday, two children 12 and under ride MTS for free when accompanied by a paid adult. 

Families can also make traveling easier by downloading the mobile ticketing app, Compass Cloud. Day Passes can be purchased in advance on the app, and stored for when you’re ready to use them. Plus, get multiple tickets on one phone for the whole group!

Need some ideas of where to go? Below are a few family-friendly destinations: 

• Ride the Green Line Trolley to the Convention Center Station to visit the New Children’s Museum in downtown San Diego. Children can foster imagination, creativity and critical thinking through inventive and engaging experiences with contemporary art. thinkplaycreate.org
