Holiday Bike Giveaway

On Wednesday, December 14, MTS employees celebrated the holiday spirit by donating bikes and helmets to 161 pre-K, Kindergarten, and first grade students at San Altos Elementary School in Lemon Grove.

Many of us cherish the memories of that first bike we learned how to ride or that special bike we received as a holiday gift. Unfortunately, many families in San Diego can’t afford to purchase new bikes for their children.

To help create lasting holiday memories for students, MTS employees surprised the students with new bikes, helmets and goodie bags.

This is the 12^th year MTS has provided local students with new bikes and helmets. MTS employees have gifted more than 700 new bikes and helmets as part of the annual MTS Employee Holiday Bike Drive!
