Maintenance Apprentice Graduation

On November 8th, MTS graduated six (6) Journey-men; Nicholas Kane, Keith Peterson, Gilbert Nunez, Helio Duenas, Darvin Borden, Israel Espinosa.The MTS Bus Apprenticeship Program trains entry level mechanics in all facets of the Body Repair, Electronics, and General Mechanic trades. Apprentices work 40 hours per week in the shop while taking Community College Clas-ses after work. Apprenticeship takes 3 to 4 years to complete. MTS Bus has graduated 28 Journeymen since 2008 and currently has 17 Apprentices in various stages of training.
