The MTS Board of Directors elected new leadership at its meeting in January and it’s important to keep tabs on what’s happening at our agency’s highest level. The Board helps set the agenda and determines priorities, and it’s the job of MTS employees to make sure it gets done. From an eco-friendly electric bus pilot program to a possible tax referendum to pay for more transit service – the Board has many near-term big decisions to make that will impact the future of MTS. With board members now settled into their seats, it’s a good time to highlight members, how long they’ve served, and their committee assignments for 2018.
(Note: Time served on the MTS Board includes years as an alternate board member, and years in other elected offices)
