More Safety Improvements at IAD and KMD

MTS Bus already won a national award for pedestrian safety, but the work doesn’t stop there. In a proactive effort to provide safe passage for employees, visitors and contractors, the MTS Bus team added pedestrian-friendly striping and stops signs at crosswalks at both KMD and IAD. The bus maintenance team used a little creativity in the process. They made the mobile stop sign bases out of old brake rotors, and added wheels for easy moving when the lot fills up with buses at end of service day.
