San Diego – An exciting week of sports in San Diego began yesterday as the United States and Canada faced off in the opening game of the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship at Snapdragon Stadium. The excitement continues as the World Lacrosse Championship host more than 100 games in the next 10 days at three different venues – all accessible by transit!
Additionally, the San Diego Wave and the San Diego Padres will be in action at home this upcoming weekend. These events will surely draw thousands of attendees and long lines of traffic, which is why MTS is recommending those that plan to attend any of these games to use the Trolley for a hassle-free game-day experience.
Getting to Snapdragon for San Diego Wave vs OL Reign, game begins Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
Come to Snapdragon Stadium to bid farewell to San Diego Wave stars Alex Morgan and Naomi Girma as they head off to Australia and New Zealand to represent the USWNT in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

UC San Diego Blue Line and Orange Line: MTS will run standard service.
Getting to Petco Park for Padres vs Nationals. Friday game starts at 6:40 p.m., Saturday game starts at 5:40 p.m., and Sunday game starts at 1:10 p.m.
All three Trolley lines provide direct access to Petco Park. Fans can use the 12th & Imperial Transit Center or Gaslamp Quarter Station for convenient access to the game. People heading to downtown for the games should expect limited parking and added traffic.
