MTS Hosts National Rail Car Consortium

In late April, MTS Rail hosted experts from the National Rail Car Consortium (the Consortium). The Consortium worked on developing best practices and standardized training curriculum for railcar maintenance. The Consortium toured MTS Rail’s Control Center, the LRV Maintenance Facility, several fleets of newest vehicles and the Vintage Trolley cars. The Consortium is an important group of established rail professionals consisting of Maintenance Managers and LRV Electro mechanics from Light Rail agencies across the nation.
