Changes to the MTS Board of Directors are coming in January. Three MTS board members lost elections and three current MTS board members are vacating their seats due to term limits or retirement. A big thanks to all of our outgoing board members for their hard work leading our agency and dedication to transit.
Current board members who won their reelections include:

Bill Sandke
Coronado Councilmember
Mona Rios
National City Councilmember
John Mullin

Since January 2017, 12 out of 15 board seats have changed. The newest board members will be appointed in December and January.

South Bay Rapid will operate from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily with service every 15 minutes during peak commuting hours (6-9 a.m. and 3-6 p.m.), and every 30 minutes during the rest of the day and on weekends.
