Code Compliance Inspector Ryan Berg and his partner Aska graduated from the Transportation Security Administration's Canine Training Handler Course on Wednesday, Sept. 27. The 10-week training program is located at Lackland Airforce Base in Texas CCI Berg was selected for the Top Dog Award, one of only two special recognition awards. The Top Dog is described in the program as follows: “This award is presented to the handler who displays outstanding achievement while attending the Transportation Security Administration Canine Training Center Handler Course. Your exceptional handler abilities rate amongst the top of your peers and reflect a great degree of dedication to your peers and reflect a great degree of dedication to your profession. The skills, which you possess, will aid to ensure the travelling public is afforded the highest level of protection while travelling throughout our Nation’s transportation systems.”
