Trains will depart every 15 minutes on all three lines before and after Monster Jam each day.
San Diego- Monster Jam returns to PETCO Park this weekend, January 15-16! The Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is encouraging attendees to avoid traffic, save money on parking, and take the Trolley to Monster Jam and events around the ballpark. Dozens of free Park & Ride locations along the system make it easy and hassle-free to get to the events. MTS is also planning slight service changes on Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 17.
Getting to Monster Jam:
On Saturday, 1/15, show begins at 7 p.m. and ends approximately 9:15 p.m.
On Sunday, 1/16, show begins at 3 p.m. and ends approximately 5:15 p.m.
Getting to the Pit Party:
Saturday: Pit Party at 2:30– 5:30 p.m.
Sunday: Pit Party at 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Free Park & Rides Lots- Dozens of transit centers allow for thousands of free parking spots when taking the Trolley or bus to PETCO. See full list of Park & Ride lots and number of spaces available.
Buying Your Transit Fare:
Use your phone as your Trolley pass with PRONTO or buy your fare at any ticket vending machine at Trolley stations
1-Day Passes are $6 for adults and $3 for seniors and youth, and included unlimited rides all day long
Martin Luther King Jr. (Monday, Jan. 17) Holiday Service Changes:
MTS operates more than 100 bus routes and three Trolley lines in 10 cities and unincorporated areas of San Diego. Frequencies and spans have been restored to near-pre-COVID-19 levels. Updated schedules can be accessed on the MTS website. MTS asks that people wear face coverings at all times and practice physical distancing when possible.
