MTS Website Gets an Upgrade

Out with the old and in with the new! If you haven’t visited our website recently, you’re in for a great surprise. MTS unveiled its new web look and design with the site launch in November 2015. The website overhaul was part of a year-long redesign to make the site more user- and mobile-friendly.

A public beta website was made available to users beginning September 2015 to get feedback and suggestions on how the site could best serve MTS customers. Among the major changes, the website now features:

• Real-time arrival information: Riders can search their location or bus stop number to see when the next bus will arrive. (Bonus: You can favorite a stop by clicking the star next to the stop name and number to store it in your web cookies.)
• Responsive design: The website is now compatible with any device, making searching the site on a cell phone or tablet easier!
• Up-to-date service alerts: An alerts and detours ticker is featured prominently on the home page to get riders detour information quicker.
• Events: Looking for activities around town? Need information on service changes for a particular event? The new event calendar and ‘Popular Destination’ features will allow you to find activities around town and how to get there using the MTS system.
