Bring on the Buses!

Bus Operators in South Bay and at IAD will soon be driving 56 new buses set for delivery in July and September. The order includes both New Flyer articulated and standard 40-foot Gillig buses. The new buses include onboard video surveillance, new wheelchair restraint systems, CNG tanks with 20-year life spans, and enhanced cooling systems.

The order is as follows:

• South Bay: 10 new 60-foot Artic New Flyer low floor buses

to replace the 7100 & 2700 Series (July delivery)

• IAD – 10 new 40-foot Gillig low-floor buses to replace the

400 series (September delivery)

• South Bay: 36 new 40-foot Gillig low floor-buses to replace

the 2700 series (September delivery)
