San Diego – Fans attending the Oct. 27 Notre Dame – Navy football game set for 5 p.m. at SDCCU Stadium are strongly encouraged to take the Trolley to avoid gridlocked roads and a full parking lot. The Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is substantially increasing Trolley service, providing the Compass Cloud mobile ticketing app for quick and easy boarding, and offering plenty of free parking at Trolley stations to make the travel experience seamless.
MTS services to the stadium - The Trolley’s Sycuan Green Line drops off fans at the doorstep to the stadium. Here’s what you need to know:
Skip the Crowd with the Cloud! – MTS is allowing attendees who use the Compass Cloud mobile ticketing app to bypass the Trolley line after the game. There’s a Compass Cloud express lane on the west side of the SDCCU Stadium Station ramp. Multiple Compass Cloud mobile tickets can be purchased on one smartphone too, making it easy for families traveling to the game together. For more information, visit the Compass Cloud webpage.
Finding the best place to park and ride the Trolley is also important! Prime park and ride locations for the game are:
MTS operates 95 bus routes and three Trolley lines on 53 miles of double-tracked railway. Every weekday more than 300,000 passenger trips are taken on MTS bus and Trolley services in 10 cities and the county. In FY 2018, MTS served more than 86 million riders.
