Drug & Alcohol Program

Effective October 24, 2011, the Board of Directors adopted an updated and consolidated Drug and Alcohol Policy for all employees of MTS, including San Diego Trolley, Inc. and San Diego Transit Corporation. All employees are expected to read and comply with this policy in all respects.

Effective December 9, 2011, safety-sensitive employees must report the use of prescription (Rx) medication on the Agency's updated Prescription Drug Notification Form (PDNF). Employees do not need to resubmit PDNFs for any previously approved medication.

To arrange a drug/alcohol test, please contact DTN at (760) 940-2015.

If you have any questions about drug and alcohol testing or the Drug and Alcohol Policy or Prescription Drug Notification Form, contact Brendan Shannon, Manager of Human Resources, at 619.557.4569 or Brendan.Shannon@sdmts.com.
