MOW/Track/Facilities Goals

Maintenance of Wayside

1. Achieve a favorable Rail Operations - MOW Maintenance department expense budget variance (excluding energy) for fiscal year 2017.
2. Complete the 43rd Street OCS realignment by December 31, 2016.
3. Install security lighting outside all substations by June 30, 2017.
4. Replace and install reflective tape on all wayside signals on the Blue and Orange Lines by November 30, 2016.
5. Upgrade signal case at E613 to reflect field conditions by June 30, 2017.

Track

1. Achieve a favorable Rail Operations - Track department expense budget variance (excluding energy) for fiscal year 2017.
2. Install 1,200 cross ties on the Orange line by the end of fiscal year 2017.
3. Resurface eight miles of the track system-wide by the end of fiscal year 2017.

Facilities 

1. Achieve a favorable Rail Operations - Facilities department expense budget variance (excluding energy) for fiscal year 2017.
2. Decrease the number of employee related lost-time injuries compared to fiscal year 2016.
3. Review and update the Facilities department SOP Manual by September 30, 2016.
4. Complete renovations to the exterior of MTS Building “B” and Taxi Admin building by June 30, 2017.
5. Decrease the number of preventable station / pedestrian injuries compared to fiscal year 2016.
